Every Zero sold buys and burns the token
90% of the profit on every Zero laptop sale buys the $ZERO token and burns it. More laptops sold means fewer tokens left.
- A Zero sellsSomeone orders a Zero laptop and pays by card.
- The sale clearsThe payment settles to us. A refunded or cancelled order never clears, so it burns nothing.
- Profit to crypto90% of that laptop's profit margin is converted to crypto.
- Buy and burnThat crypto buys the token on the open market, and the tokens go to a burn address where nobody can ever move them. Every burn is a public transaction anyone can check.
How much each laptop burns
Profit is what's left of the price after the laptop itself, card fees, imaging and shipping, and the sales tax we pay the distributor, the same numbers as Open books on the order page. They're estimates from retail prices until our distributor quotes, and grow once distributor pricing kicks in.

The token isn't a share of Zero and doesn't pay anyone anything: the only promise is the buy and burn above. Its price can go to zero. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
